Happy New Year to all; I hope 2009 had a happy ending for you, and 2010 proves to be a really great year for everyone. Since it's cold as heck and you won't be riding anywhere on two wheels for a while (unless you trailer or fly and ride), and with football season just about over, this ends up being a good time to do some planning. During the winter months, the biker boyz and me meet regularly to fill our faces and plan for our next "big ride". Since we are heading into our seventh season of riding together, we also spend plenty of time reminiscing about past rides, the miles put on the machines and the sights we've seen. I don't think there is one past ride that we wouldn't do again, given enough time. On the list of possible rides this year, we have Colorado, the northeast and the Keys. Most of the talk has been about Colorado, but the final decision has not been made quite yet. Once we settle on the ride, then we work out the timeframe, routes, etc. These planning sessions give us something to look forward to, and help us get through the cold winter months. We are also kicking around going to the IMS in February and the Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa sometime this month.
